Health and Safety
A bit of a hobby-horse for us, really.
Health & Safety are very important to us and we are
using the NatWest Mentor Service with their 24 hour helpline
to help us ensuring the welfare of our employees, which
we regard as one of our biggest company assets.

We keep extensive H&S
diaries with yearly Risk Assessments on all Hazards
applicable to our trade. We have all our electrical
Portable Appliances tested yearly and all our staff
are tested for occupational health hazards on a regular
basis.
3 of our staff are trained in First Aid, the other
staff are generally being encouraged and invited
to attend the training as well, sponsored by the
company of course. |
In 2004, we have successfully entered our local Thurrock
Business Awards in the Category ‘Safety in the Workplace’ and
are proud to have been awarded 1st after having been audited
by a H&S specialist representative of sponsor BP, who
had come to our premises from Tilbury Refineries.
